Dr. Dan is a native of western Kansas. His family has resided in Ness City since the 1800's. He enjoys Basketball and Volleyball.

Drs. Dan and Melinda are a husband and wife team. They have 3 kids. They both participate with the Kansas Donated Dental Services (DDS) program, the Kansas Mission of Mercy, and are the only private practice dental providers for Kansas Healthwave located in Hays. (Healthwave is a medical and dental program dedicated to children without health insurance)

	Kizmin Wilson RDH - Kizmin is a Registered Dental Hygienist licensed in the state of Kansas. Kizmin has been employed with Miner Family Dentistry since 2001 as a Dental Assistant and since 2004 as a Dental Hygienist. She graduated from the Colby Community College Dental Hygiene Program. Kizmin is married and has one son and enjoys playing sports, keeping fit and scrapbooking.
	Kimberly Andrews RDH- Kim is Registered Dental Hygienist licensed in the state of Kansas. She graduated from the Colby Community College Dental Hygiene Program. Kim is our primary child hygienist but sees adults as well. She attracts children with her friendly demeanor and great attitude. Adults love her too with her gentle touch and calming voice. In her spare time, Kim enjoys taking care of her nephews, traveling and shopping.
	Jenna Kane RDH - Jenna is a registered dental hygienist. She graduated from Johnson County Community College in 2009 and is our newest team member. Jenna also earned a BS in life sciences from Kansas State University. Jenna enjoys spending time with her friends and family.
	Jeannie - Jeannie is our Financial Coordinator. Jeannie is a Kansas native and has been with Miner Family Dentistry since 2003. She has worked in many aspects of health care and understands the financial needs of patients. She can help find a payment plan that will work for your family. Jeannie has a daughter, enjoys camping and loves animals.
	Megan - Megan is our receptionist. She will always greet you with a smile on the phone and in person. She recently graduated from Fort Hays State University. In her spare time she likes to read. She loves to hang out with her family and friends.
	Gretchen - Gretchen is our Appointment Coordinator. She is happy to assist you in finding the perfect appointment and will try to help you remember it. An Iowa native and Iowa State University Graduate; Gretchen has called Hays home for 4 years. She and her husband have two children. Gretchen enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, movies, and all things pop culture.
	Sharon - Sharon is our Office Manager, she is also a Dental Assistant and a Certified Pharmacy Technician. She has been with Miner Family Dentistry since 2005. She is committed to helping make your visit a pleasant one. Sharon has a daughter and a son and loves to ride horses and 4 wheelers.
	Katie - Katie is our lead dental assistant. Her glowing smile and positive attitude are a great asset to Miner Family Dentistry. A Hays native, Katie attended Fort Hays University before finding herself in a dental assistant career. In her spare time she enjoys reading and spending time with her family.
	Jamie - Jamie is a dental assistant. A western Kansas native, after living in Topeka for 6 years she decided to return home to pursue a dental assisting career. In her spare time she enjoys playing softball and reading.
	Krista - Krista is a hygiene dental assistant. Krista has been employed with Miner Family Dentistry since 2002. She took a few years off to concentrate on raising her children and is back with us. In her spare time Krista enjoys cooking, spending time with her family, and is an avid movie buff.
	Emily - Emily is a dental assistant. She grew up in Hays and enjoys spending time with family and friends. She enjoys playing soccer in her spare time and coaches a traveling soccer team.

Miner Family Summer Interns

Every summer we take in 2 students and teach them about the joys of a Dental career. Would you like an opportunity to learn about dentistry first hand? You must be enrolled in college classes full time and interested in becoming a Dentist. Apply any time. Send your resume and a cover letter explaining why this program would be good for you to Om@minerfamilydentistry.com. Put summer intern on the subject line. Students are contacted in April for interviews to work that summer (May- August). Come join the Miner Family and learn about a great career.

Leighton - Leighton is a junior at Fort Hays State University (FHSU) majoring in Chemistry. He was born and raised in Hays, Kansas. Leighton plans to attend dental school in the future. 2010 was his second summer at our office.
